Contact UsEthero captures audio on the smartphone and analyzes it during the shift. By design, it isolates the sales associate's voice alone; the customer is never recorded. What happens next is determined by your deployment. On-premise, audio streams to your own machine, where redaction and analysis run locally, and only the results are forwarded to the cloud. On our default cloud deployment, audio streams to a dedicated private cloud, is analyzed in real time, and the raw audio is permanently discarded the moment analysis completes. We retain only the resulting metrics and tags, surfaced in your dashboard and app, and nothing more.

Install the smartphone app, tap Start shift when you step onto the floor, pause when you step off, resume when you return, and end the shift when you're done. That is the entire workflow. Keep the phone on Wi‑Fi and uploads stay free, since by default data uploads over Wi‑Fi only, never over cellular. Roughly 15 minutes after an 8-hour shift, your sales-conversation analytics are ready, with no transcripts and no audio, ever.
